Hazel Class

Welcome to Term 6 in  Hazel Class

I hope you all had a lovely half term break. I can not believe we are now in our final term of the year - where has that time gone? Hazel Class continue to shine their light in all they do, working so hard - I am very proud of all of them.

This term in Science we investigate living things and their habitats. We will be studying life cycles of animals and also looking at different ways plants grow.  In History we will be investigating the question 'How did the Maya civilisation compare to the Anglo Saxons?' I am sure there will be some chocolate tasting as part of our learning! In RE this term, we continue to build on our knowledge of the question 'What does it mean to be a Muslim in Britain today?' Our knowledge organisers and curriculum map can be found on this page to give you more of an insight into what we will be learning. We also looking forward to the 8 Billion Ideas 'Grow 24' final and wish Matthew, Brandon and George lots of luck for this.

Our PE day this term is Tuesday. May I remind you that our PE kit consists of navy shorts and a house coloured t-shirt. Children should wear a school jumper/cardigan or fleece and they may also wear black plain tracksuit bottoms.  We also will have Forest School this term,  children should come to school in appropriate clothing. Please ensure children have long trousers, a waterproof and a change of shoes for this. On PE (and Forest School) days, hair must be tied back and no jewellery is to be worn. Thank you for your cooperation.

Keep an eye on Class Dojo as I will be posting updates as well as keeping you informed about what we are up to in class.

If you need to contact me, you can drop me a message on Class Dojo or call the office and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your support.
